Nightguard killed as wall collapses in Bogura

A night watchman named Ayanul Haque (55) died after the boundary wall of a madrasa in Bogra town collapsed. A woman along with two children were injured in this incident.
The incident took place at Jamil Madrasa located in Chakfarid area of Bogra city on Friday (March 24) afternoon.

A man was killed after a boundary wall of a madrasa collapsed in Bogura on Friday (March 24). A woman along with two children were injured in this incident.
The incident took place at Jamil Madrasa at Chakfarid area of Bogura town on Friday (March 24) afternoon.
The deceased was known as Aynul Haque (55), a resident of Charnandina village of Sirajganj sadar upazila. He was working as a nightguard of Jamil Madrasa for the past one month.
The injured were known as Mukta, 35, a resident of Matidali area of Bogura Sadar and guardian of a student of the madrasa, and two students of the same Mardarasa hailed from Shibganj’s Chandihara area Hamim (12) and Meftazul (5) from Kahalu upazila.
It was learned that the boundary wall on the south-west side of the madrasa had collapsed a few months ago. The wall collapsed on Friday (March 24) afternoon. At that time, four people including Aynul were injured. Later, the members of the Fire Service rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and sent them to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital. After being taken to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared Aynul dead.
Inspector in charge of Banani outpost Tariqul Islam said the family of the deceased has been contacted. They are coming. Further legal action will be taken after hearing from them.
