Two killed in Sirajganj road crash

At least two people were killed when oil-laden a truck rammed a CNG-run-autorickshaw in Shaheed Filling Station area in Shahjadpur upazila of Sirajganj.

One of the deceased was known as Abdul Hye, 30, and another remained unidentified instantly.

Police and local sources said that the accident took place in the area around 7:00 pm, leaving two people dead on the spot and injured another one.

Later, police and fire service officials rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.

Shahjadpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam Mridha confirmed the matter.
