Two motorcyclists killed in Danjpur road accident

Two motorcycle riders were killed as a microbus hit them at Chirirbandar upazila in Dinajpur district on Thursday night.

The deceased are Golzar Ali, 40, son of Gomulla Shah at Kismat Fatejungpur Dangarhat village of the upazila, and Fazle Rabbi Dulal, 40, son of late Ismail Ali at Charakdanga Dublia village under Khansama upazila.

According to police, they were going towards Bekipur Bazar riding on a motorcycle at night. On the way, a speeding micro bus coming from Saidpur hit their motorcycle in Champatali Bazar area around 8:00 pm. The two died on the spot.

Chirirbandar Police Station officer-in-charge Bazlur Rashid confirmed the matter.
