JP leader dies after falling into cooking pot

A Jatiya Party leader named Tajid Box Limon, 52, has died after falling into a cooking pot filled with hot oil.

The deceased was the son of Khidir Box at Kornosi village under Goalbazar union in Sylhet’s Osmaninagar upazila.

According to sources, Limon locked into a quarrel with another before Iftar time on Friday. At one stage, he fell into a cooking pot filed with hot oil while jilapi was being prepared. He received serious injury and was taken to Osmaninagar Medical College Hospital. 

Later, he was shifted to Sylhet Park View Hospital where he died.
