Indian citizen held at Bandarban border

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have arrested an Indian citizen from Naikhongchhari border area of Bandarban district.

The arrestee is Sudhir, 40, son of Bimol in Uttara Pradesh of India.

BGB members arrested him when he was rooming in the border area on Thursday night.

Cox’s Bazar BGB Battalion Commander Mohammad Saiful Islam Chowdhury confirmed the news.

A case has been filed against him.
