RCC polls: 20 candidates have no academic qualification

A total of 20 candidates including one mayor candidate in the upcoming Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) polls have no academic qualification.

Among them, one is mayoral candidate, 12  general ward councillor candidates and seven councillor candidates for reserved women seats.

This information has been found by analyzing the affidavits of the candidates.

As many as 352,157 will vote in the Rajshahi polls this time.

Of them, 171,185 are men and 189,972 are women.

The RCC city elections will be held on June 21 through EVMs.
