Executive magistrate gets death threat in Chattogram

An executive magistrate of Chattogram district administration has received death threats after conducting drive in several institutions in the district.

Magistrate Prateek Dutta confirmed the matter on Thursday (June 1).

Sources said recently Prateek Dutta conducted several eviction drives in Chittagong city. Due to this, it is believed that he received death threats.

Deputy Commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman said one of our magistrates received death threats over the phone. Legal action will be taken in this regard.
