Truck-pickup collision kills 12 in Sylhet

At least 12 people were killed and 10 others were injured in a collision between a truck and a pickup van in Nazirbazar area of Sylhet early Wednesday.

The accident took place around 5.50am on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Kutubpur area under Dakshin Surma Thana.

Deputy Director of Sylhet Fire Service Moniruzzaman confirmed the news.

The injured have been sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College.
