Five of a family burnt in Narayanganj fire

Five members of a family suffered burn injuries in a fire broke out at a house at Kashimpur of Fatullah in Narayanganj early Friday.

The injured are Md Salam Mondal, his wife Bulbuli Begum, Sonia Akter, Tutul and Mehjabin.

They were immediately taken to Narayanganj General Victoria College. Later, they were shifted to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.Resident surgeon Dr Md Tariqul Islam of the institute said five family members, including woman and a child, with burn injuries from Fatulla were admitted to the hospital.  They all are receiving treatment.

Sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit.
