Conspirators trying to foil elections: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has said that conspirators at home unitedly are trying to foil the next general elections. He urged the people to be cautious against them.
The Minister made the remarks in reply to queries of the reporters after attending an event at Dhamra, Savar, the outskirts of the capital, on Saturday (June 10) noon.
Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, “Many tides and counter tides appear when the election comes. Those who do not want to go to power through elections, do not want to participate in elections and create chaos to foil polls, these types of activities we are experiencing these days as well. We have always seen all the conspirators got united for fresh conspiracy whenever election comes. So, everybody has be alert in this regard.”
Over Jamaat rally, the minister said, “Jammat always used to hold their programmes at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque. This time, the party has asked holding any programme there would create severe traffic congestion. So, they were asked to choose another venue and they did it.”
