5 teen gang members arrested in Chattogram

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel have arrested five members of a teen gang from Kadamtali BRTC bus stand area in Chattogram city.

The arrestees are – Rabiul Hasan, 17, Shahinuzzaman Masum, 17, Tafhim Mohammad Maruf, 16, Abrar Muntasir Adnan, 14, and Rahi Uddin Rahman Nishan, 17.

RAB-7 senior assistant director Md Nurul Absar on Saturday said acting on secret information that the teen gang is staying in the area, the law enforcers conducted the drive and arrested them. Meanwhile, two steel-made knives were recovered from their possession.

Legal steps will be taken against them, the RAB official said.
