Serajul Alam Khan laid to rest

Serajul Alam Khan, one of the key organisers of the War of Liberation in 1971, has been laid to eternal rest at his village home at Alipur village in Choumuhoni Pourasava under Begumganj upazila in Noakhali.
His third namaj-e-janaza was held at Begumganj government pilot high school. Later, he was buried with state honour beside the grave of his mother Syeda Zakia Khatun at 5:00pm on Saturday (June 10).
Serajul Alam Khan, Jasad founder, died this afternoon while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). He was 82.
