3 youths killed in motorcycle crash in Barguna

Three youths were killed after their motorcycle crashed into a standing truck at Kakchira union under Patharghata upazila in Barguna on Monday night (September 19).

The deceased were known as Rakib, 18, son of Babul Hawlader, Sakib, 18, son of Delwar Hossain, and Tanvir, 20, son of Nasir Uddin.

Police said a motorcycle hit a standing truck from behind around 8:00pm while they were going to local market from Kakchira, leaving its three riders dead on the spot.

Patharghata police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shah Alam Hawlader said the bodies were sent to Barguna general hospital for autopsy.
