It’s not matter who will participate in polls or not: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said it is not a matter to see who will participate in the next general election or not.

The minister came up with the remark at the opening ceremony of the Mana-Bay Water Park at Gajaria in Munshiganj on Friday.

The next general election will be a free, fair and unbiased election. That election must be held under the impartial Election Commission. The government will provide all the support to the Election Commission, said the minister.

“Those who think that elections will not be fair without foreign observers are wrong. It is not the government's concern whether foreign election observers will come or not”, he said.
