Five die of dengue fever in Barishal

Five dengue patients died in Barishal division in the past 24 hours, raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in the division of the country’s south region to 91.

Meanwhile, a total of 477 new persons were diagnosed with dengue fever over the same period.

Dr Shyamal Krishna Mandal, deputy director of Barishal Divisional Health Office, revealed the information on Sunday (September 24) noon.
