2 minors die being electrocuted in Noakhali

Two minor boys died from electrocution at Hajipur village of Subarnachar upazila in Noakhali on Monday morning (September 25).

The deceased were known as Md Jisan, 9, son of Mohammad Faruk Hossain, and Rahat Hossain, 12, son of Abu Taher.

Jamal Uddin, local union parishad member said the two kids left their home for madrasa this morning. But they climbed on roof of a mosque in the village to collect dry tree leaves. At one stage, the kids were electrocuted when they touched electric wire adjacent to the roof.

Later, locals took them to Subarnachar upazila health complex where duty doctor declared them dead.
