Woman, her two children found dead 18 hours after missing

Floating bodies of a woman and her two children have been recovered nearly 18 hours after they went missing in Ranisankail upazila of Thakurgaon district on Wednesday (September 27) morning.
The bodies were recovered from Tirnoi river in the Kashipur Kashidanga area of the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Nasima, 40, wife of Rahim Uddin and their sons Shaon, 8, and Safayet, 5.
An eyewitness named Majedul Islam said, “Hands of the three bodies were tied with rope. Some people suspected it a murder case, again some others called it a suicidal case.”
Gulfamul Islam Mandal, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ranisankail police station, said Nasima went missing with her children after making a quarrel with her husband on Tuesday evening.
Her family members filed a general diary (GD) with the police station in this connection. Soon after the GD was filed, the news regarding the recovery of three bodies from Tirnoi river came, the OC said.
The OC added that police were rushed to the spot.
