One dengue patient dies at RMCH

A young man died from dengue infection while undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Azizul Islam, 20, hailing from Borobishakul village in Bhangura upazila of Pabna, breathed his last on Tuesday (September 26) night while he was undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital.

Brigadier General FM Shamim Ahmed, director of RMCH, on Wednesday (September 27) said Azizul was admitted to Pabna Sadar hospital with fever on September 23 and later he was taken to RMCH the following day. He died yesterday night while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

With him, the death toll from dengue in the hospital rose to 10 this year.
