5 Rohingyas arrested for trying to get passports

Police arrested five Rohingyas on charges of trying to acquire Bangladeshi passports through forged documents in Mymensingh.

The arrestees are Abdur Rahman, 20, son of Kalimullah, Enamullah, 21, son of Amanullah, Md Majibar, 21, son of Haji Syed Ali, Habibur Rahman, 19, son of Abdul Kalam, Nur Kamal, 19, son of Nur Mohammad.

Phulpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) MD Abdullah Al Mamun said hiding identity, the five youths were roaming around the area. Later, on information, police detained them. Meanwhile, the law enforcers also detained three Bangladesh brokers in this connection.

Legal action will be taken against the detainees, OC added.
