Export-import thru’ Hili land port halted

Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through Hili Land Port in Dinajpur have remained closed on Thursday (September 28) on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the anniversary of the birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM).

Jamil Hossain Chalanta, general secretary of Bangla Hilli C&F Agents Association confirmed the matter.

Hili Immigration Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ashraful Islam said the land port will reopen on Saturday. However, the passport holders will be able to cross the border today.
