BNP’s Aminbazar rally begins

The main opposition party BNP started their rally at Aminbazar, an entry point of the capital Dhaka to press home their one-point demand including the resignation of the government and holding of the national election under a non-partisan government.

The rally which is being organized by Dhaka district BNP began at 2pm on Thursday (September 28).

With small processions and placards involving slogans, BNP activists and leaders gathered on the ground of the new building of Aminbazar Mirpur Mofid-E-Am College to join the rally.

Presided over by convener of Dhaka district BNP Abu Ashfaque, BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the rally in Aminbazar.

Earlier, BNP postponed the scheduled rally in Aminbazar on Sunday last, alleging that law enforcers and ruling party activists vandalised the stage set up at the venue.
