Import-export activities thru’ Hili Land Port resume

Import and export activities through Hili Land Port resumed in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur after one-day closure on the occasion of the holy Ashura.

However, the movement of travellers with valid passports and visas between the two countries through the Hili immigration check post remained normal.

Sakhawat Hossain Shilpi, President of Land Port Import-Export Group, confirmed the matter on Monday (July 7).

Imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of imported goods resumed around 1:00pm today, Shilpi said.

Earlier, export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through Hili land port were suspended yesterday on the occasion of the holy Ashura.
