13 killed in Israeli airstrikes in Rafah

Israel has again launched airstrikes in Rafah city in the besieged Gaza Strip. At least 13 Palestine people have been killed in the attack.

The number of victims is much higher in the attack, said the Palestinian official news agency WAFA.

News agency Reuters said Israeli air strikes on three houses in the southern Gaza city of Rafah killed 13 people and wounded many others, on Monday (April 29).

Hamas media outlets put the death toll at 15.

The attack in Rafah came when Egypt invited Hamas leaders to discuss the prospects for a ceasefire agreement with Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces did not make any comment immediately regarding the attack.
