One killed in parcel bomb blast at JD(U) leader’s house in India

Risingbd Desk: One person was killed when a parcel bomb went off inside the home of a JD(U) leader in Gaya district of Bihar in India.

The incident took place at the area on Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Santosh Kumar (24), cousin of JD(U)`s Gaya district (rural) president Abhay Kushwaha.

The local police officials confirmed the blast incident adding that they were investigating whether it was Naxal incident.

The explosion occurred at around 7.00am on the day when Santosh Kushwaha and his associate Jayhind tried to open an unattended parcel lying inside the house.
