Over 5000 more die from coronavirus worldwide

Some 5,311 more people died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections worldwide in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the virus to 56,16,077.

Besides, some 25,76,534 people tested positive for coronavirus worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 35,27,56,107.

A total of 14,11,403 people have made recoveries from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 27,98,51,920.

International survey organisation Worldometer came up with the information on Tuesday (January 25) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
