Over 10000 more die from coronavirus worldwide

Some 10,221 more people died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections worldwide in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the virus to 56,44,738.

Besides, some 34,99,078 people tested positive for coronavirus worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 36,29,06,611.

International survey organisation Worldometer came up with the information on Thursday (January 27) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
