Bangladesh registers zero Covid-19 death, 93 new cases in 24 hrs

Bangladesh registered zero death from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours. So, the national death toll stuck at 29, 314 across the country so far.

However, some 93 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 20,09,222 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Tuesday (August 16).

Alongside, as many as 228 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 19,51,965, the release said.
