Mother, 2 minor children found slaughtered in Mymensingh

Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her two minor children, all with their throats slit, from a house in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on Monday morning (July 14).

The deceased were known as Moyna Akter, 25, wife of Rafiqul, their two kids Raisa Akter, 4, and Nirob Mia, 2.

After the incident, the woman Moyna’s brother-in-law Nazrul Islam went into hiding.

Bhaluka Model Police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Humayun Kabir said the bodies were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
