Sonali Bank’s Ruma branch money remains safe: CID 

Md. Shah Newaz Khaled, additional DIG, CID branch for Chattogram region, has said miscreants could not be able to take a single note from the vault of the Sonali Bank branch in Ruma of Bandarban. 

The CID officer confirmed this at around 3:00pm on Wednesday.

He said, “Our two crime scene teams visited the spot and collected various evidences. We have opened it with the key and noticed that all the money in the vault have remained safe. We have found 1 crore 59 lakh 46 thousand taka in the vault. Miscreants could not be able to open the vault”.
