Golam Azam`s son held, family claims

Staff Correspondent: Law enforcers in plain clothes held Abdullahel Aman Azmi, son of former Jamaat amir Golam Azam who died in imprison sentenced over war crimes, family claimed.

Aman Azmi`s brother Salman Azmi wrote in his facebook page around 1:00am on Tuesday, "Some 30 to 35 men in plain clothes identifying themselves as members of Detective Branch (DB) of Police picked up my brother from our Mogbazar residence."

Aman Azmi is an expelled official from Bangladesh Army.

However, Police denied over detaining Aman Azmi.

Masudur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), said, "He knew nothing about the matter."
