Cohorts of August 15 are still active: ACC Chairman

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud has said, the cohorts of conspirators who killed Bangabandhu along with family members on August 15, 1975, are still active.
The ACC chief made the assertion while addressing a discussion on the occasion of national mourn day at ACC headquarters on Saturday (August 15).
Expressing tribute to the victims of August 15, he said, killers put a black spot on the forehead of the nation. The nation now will have to carry spot generation to generation.
He said, father of the nation has laid the foundation of development of the country since the inception. Now it’s our responsibility to take the country forward continuously.
ACC secretary Muhammad Dilwar Bakht, ACC director general Abdun Nur Muhammad Al Firoz, Rezanur Rahman, Saeed Mahmub Khan, AK Shohel, Jakir Hossain and other top level officials spoke on the occasion.
