Barrister Rafique-ul-Huq put on life support

Veteran Supreme Court lawyer, former Attorney General (AG) Barrister Rafique-Ul Huq has been put on life support.

He was put on life support at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the capital’s Ad Din Hospital on Wednesday (October 21) as his health condition deteriorated.

Ad Din Hospital Director Dr Nahida Yeasmin said, “The health condition of sir (Barrister Rafique-Ul Huq ) is worse since yesterday (Tuesday) night. He is now in critical state. He has been put on life support.”

Barrister Rafique-Ul Huq was admitted to the hospital on the evening of October 15. It was learned that he has been suffering from different old-age-complications including anemia.
