Poet Tokon Thakur arrested

Poet and filmmaker Tokon Thakur has been arrested.

Police arrested him from his residence of the capital’s Elephant Road on Sunday (October 25) night.

Yeasin Ali, Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation) of New Market Police Station, confirmed the matter to risingbd.

He said, “An arrest warrant was issued in a case against Tokhun Thakur by a Money Loan Court. He was arrested in line with the warrant. He will be produced before a court on Monday (October 26).”
