Prime Minister takes Coronavirus vaccine

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has received Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine.

Hasan Jahid Tushar, Deputy Press Secretary of Prime Minister confirmed the matter on Thursday afternoon (March 4).

Earlier, the Prime Minister’s younger sister Sheikh Rehana received Coronavirus vaccine shot from a hospital in the capital on Wednesday (February 23).

On 27 February, the Premier said she will surely take the vaccine once a significant number of countrymen become inoculated with the vaccine against the disease.

The registration of the Coronavirus vaccination campaign was launched on January 27.
