Rupali Bank gets new Chairman

The government has appointed Kazi Sanaul Haque as the chairman of Rupali Bank. The newly appointed Chairman will continue the post for the next three years.
He joined the bank’s managing board meeting on Sunday (June 13).
Besides, the Financial Institutions Division issued a notification in the regard today.
Earlier, Finance Ministry sent a letter to the managing director of Rupali Bank which was approved by the Bangladesh Bank on 6 June.
Kazi Sanaul Haque previously worked as managing director of Dhaka Stock Exchange. He also worked as chairman of three state-owned banks- Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), Karmashangsthan Bank, and Rajshahi Development Bank.
