Bangladesh logs 26 Covid deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 26 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 27,277 across the country so far.

Besides, some 1,562 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 15,45,800 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Tuesday (September 21).

Alongside, as many as 1,603 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 15,04,709 the release said.
