‘Country’s dev being possible due to continuity of government’

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, “Country’s development is being possible because of the continuity of the government. The country has not stopped, rather it is moving forward although the pace of development has been slowed down due to the coronavirus pandemic. Investment opportunities will also be created as a developing country.”

She said this while inaugurating the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC) at Purbachal as the chief guest.

Joining virtually from her official residence Ganabhaban on Thursday (October 21), the premier also underscored the necessity of attaining own efficiency in production to survive in the competitive economy.

The Prime Minister said, “The best use of the center will be ensured by organising export fairs, trade fairs, exporters’ conferences, buyer-seller fairs and other activities promoting trade.”

She said, “This exhibition center will be used as a permanent venue for fairs based on various products throughout the year. From now on, the Dhaka International Trade Fair will be held here on a permanent platform.”
