Padma Bridge to be inaugurated in June: Cabinet secretary

Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said, the Padma Bridge will be inaugurated by the end of June.

The secretary made the opinion while addressing a press conference after a regular cabinet meeting on Thursday (May 19).

He said the bridge’s name will remain the same. The prime minister will speak on this issue next week.

While talking about the tolls set for vehicles on Padma Bridge, the cabinet secretary said that the authority of the bridge will have to takeback the spent money.
