Land office staff suspended for demanding bribe

An office assistant at the land office in Ranisankail upazila of Thakurgaon, has been suspended on charge of taking bribes from a client.

The accused in known as Shakib Uddin, a cashier of the office.

Land ministry issued a letter to Thakurgaon district administration in this regard on Sunday (September 25).

Earlier, a video of the official has gone viral on social media that shows him taking bribe money from a client. Later, the land ministry takes the step against the official.
