Woman raped in capital, admitted to DMCH

A woman, 25, has allegedly been raped in the capital, and she has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Turag Thana Police admitted her to the one stop crisis centre of DMCH on Wednesday afternoon.

Uttara Thana Inspector (investigation) Shfikul Islam said the woman was rescued with unconscious condition from a road of Uttara sector-11 in the capital.

She was immediately taken to Tongi Hospital.

Being informed from a 999 message, a police team rescued the woman, and she alleged that she was raped by some youths, said Shfikul Islam.
