Pistol looted from police station recovered in Rajshahi

A pistol along with a magazine and a round of ammunition has been recovered from Tikapara area of Rajshahi.

In a press notification, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) said the elite force conducted a drive in the area around 12:30 am on Sunday (July 6) and recovered the fire arms.

During the operation, a 7.62 mm foreign pistol, a magazine, and a bullet were recovered from a pile of sand in Tikapara, buried about two feet deep.

Boalia police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) said this is a firearm used by the police. However, it is not possible to say specifically from which police station it was looted.
