Khaleda Zia hospitalized

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Wednesday night (March 14) for regular medical tests.

She was taken to hospital as per the suggestion of her medical board. After some tests, the medical board advised Khaleda Zia to be admitted to the hospital.

Her medical team member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said that few more medical tests are left to done. After that, the medical board members will take necessary steps.

Khaleda, a 77-year-old former prime minister, has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, heart, and eye problems.
