Rail communication snapped as train derails in Lalmonirhat

A compartment of a commuter train in Lalmonirhat derailed on Thursday, causing rail communication to be snapped from the station.

The accident took place at around 1:00 pm at Mahendranagar Railway Station. No causality was reported following the derailment.

Lalmonirhat railway station assistant transport officer Farukul Islam said, the last coach of the Commuter-3 train was derailed. Rescue operation is going on.
