Sayeedi laid to rest beside his elder son’s grave

Convicted war criminal Delwar Hossain Sayeedi has been buried beside the grave of his elder son on Sayeedi’s foundation premise in Pirojpur municipality area.

He was buried around 3.15pm on Tuesday (August 15). His namaj-e-janaza was held around 1.10pm. Acting Ameer of Jamaat Islami Mujibur Rahman conducted the namaj-e-janaza.

An ambulance carrying Sayeedi’s body reached on Sayeedi’s foundation premise at 10am.

Former lawmaker Delwar Hossain Sayeedi passed away around 8:40 pm on Monday (August 14) while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital.
