Bangladesh logs 218 more Covid deaths, 9369 new case

Bangladesh logged 218 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, climbing the national toll to 20,685 across the country so far.

Besides, 9,369 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 12,49,484 in the country.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Saturday (July 31).

Alongside, as many as 14,017 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 10, 78,212 the release said.
