Tanzim ruled out of 3rd ODI due to injury

Pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib has been ruled out of the side's third ODI against Sri Lanka in Chattogram with a right hamstring injury. Pace bowler Hasan Mahmud has been called to the team as his replacement.

In a statement, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the matter on Sunday (March 17).

Physiotherapist Bayezid Islam said that Tanzim is experiencing pain and discomfort in his right hamstring. He didn’t feel good during practice today. He is not fit for tomorrow's match.

Tanzim’s injury is a big shock for Bangladesh team. He had played an important role taking three key wickets in the first ODI.
