T20 World Cup: Bangladesh to face Sri Lanka in Super 12 today

Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in their Twenty20 World Cup Super 12s opener starting today, Sunday (October 24).

The match is scheduled to start at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates at 4 pm (Bangladesh local time).

Sri Lanka are waiting on the fitness of Theekshana, who strained his side in the match against Netherlands. If he doesn't play, offspinner Akila Dananjaya will likely come in.

Bangladesh have probably bumped on to their best XI for now, although they might want to look at including Nasum Ahmed if they think the Sharjah pitch will be good for spinners.
