Bangladesh has taken a slim lead of 29 runs on the final day of their series-deciding Test against Sri Lanka in Mirpur.
Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das rescued Bangladesh after top order collapse. Sri Lanka tightened their grip on the Test when Kasun Rajitha bowled Mushfiqur Rahim earlier in the day, to leave Bangladesh five down and still 88 runs behind. Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das hit half century but after launch they were out.
Liton Kumar Das crossed 2000-run mark.
Mushfiqur, who scored an unbeaten 175, departed after a 39-ball 23 in the first hour of the fifth day's play.
Although the pitch had now begun to take some turn, Sri Lanka's spinners were unable to create any serious chances.
