Child killed in gas line explosion

Staff Correspondent: A child was killed and his father and mother received burn injuries in a gas line explosion in the capital’s Mirpur on Tuesday midnight.
The incident took place around 11.50pm at the house of Afsar Uddin, road no.- 4, Mirpur-11.
The dead is seven months old Tamim. The injured are Md Manik (35) and his wife Mina (22).
On information, three units of fire service rushed the spot and doused the fire with an effort of half hour.
After rescuing them, three were admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where child Tamim died around 1. 25am.
