Top drug trader killed in ‘gunfight’

Narsingdi Correspondent:  Top drug trader Eman Ali (34) has been killed in a ‘gunfight’ with RAB in the district’s Ghorashal.

The gunfight took place at a football ground near Moizuddin Bridge of the upazila on Monday morning.

Eman Ali was the son of Nagoriakandi area of Narsingdi town.

RAB members also recovered two foreign pistols, two rounds of bullets and one thousand pieces of yaba.

ASP of RAB-11 Md Apel Uddin said acting on a tiff-off, a team of RAB conducted a drive there. Sensing the presence of law enforcers,  the drug traders opened fire, forcing the RAB men to back fire that triggered a gunfight. Eman Ali died on the spot and other fled from the spot.
